I met a guy tonight riding a 2004 kx500 second tank of gas ever ran threw the bike he paid $2000.00 for the bike.

That is a freakin steel!!!!!

Get it!! I just put that into my '95 instead of updating to a new 4Stroker. You'll have a fantastic fresh bike that will be just as capable as a "modern" bike (just mod the suspension and throw on a scotts)

were did he find a deal like that?
-
He got it from the guy who owns big boys motor toy in town. I guess the guy bought the bike brand new in 04 road it one time and said no thanks to much bike for me and parked it. I swear If you could go down and buy one from kawi right now It would not be cleaner.

well, at least the guy was smart enough to know when he was out of his league in the bike depertment. the last bike i had was a old honda 80 (at least i think it was an 80,not sure) when i was 10, well then 24 years later i got a kx 500. most people wouldn't do that but i like big power and i also like to arrive loaded for bear. maybe i'm just not that smart, but i have a ton of fun riding the K5. i think the key is to know your limits and try to stay within them but still be willing to push a little to keep advancing your riding skill.
p.s. i was playing with cars, engines and ATV's for those 24 years in between  MADDOGGY
