Title: 99 KX500 rear wheel on 99-02 KX250
Post by: sintax on December 19, 2007, 12:31:04 PM

Is there any combinations of spacers I can use to make a 99 KX500 rear wheel work in a 99-02 KX250 swing arm? I'm looking to cut some costs on my 500/250 hybrid.

I would have thought it would have been a direct replacement, Kawasaki only used two width  of spacers older units had 22 mm and newer used 20mm.

ok, what about the front wheel?

I know the lower fork tubes look different on my 99 500 vs my buddies 01 250

Same deal get the spacers for the 250 and it should work like a champ. Older K5 used a smaller axle, but your 99 is the same as the 250. Axle is different as well.
