Yeah it is, its the best info around. Sometimes you get more answers than you need, and that leads to you improving your bike even more than simply getting it to start. BDI, on here, always points out the local guys' advice always seem to lead you to detune the kx 500. That is what most people would do to their k5, so they could handle the power. That is OK, if that is what you need to have fun, but it is important to know what the modifications do to the powerband. These guys can tell you everything. How to set it up for top end, bottom end, crank up the rpms, or to smooth it out for roll on throttle power. It is also a great place to find parts for the green beasts.
Welcome to the site!!!!

it has always seemed harder to me to find the mods that make more power relibly.. than the ones that make less power,, i have tried about twenty things that make less power to every one that makes more

BDI, not all of us have wide open dunes around...although cool it would be, a desert planet it would make....
mmmmm went a little Yoda there.
