Title: 2004/2006 bottom ends

My son's crank blew on his 2004 KX85. I know the 02-04 crankcases are the same, but the 2006 has a different part number. I can get one at a good price, only a few dollars more than a new crank and kit. Anyone know that it will fit? It could be something minor, including a part inside or oil capacity, that resulted in a changed part number. thanks!
