I rode my 2000 with the Gnarly pipe for a few years, had tons of low end, but I ride SoCal desert near the Superstitions and when the passing situations came up I ran out of top end. I switched to the FMF desert pipe this year and there`s a big difference on the mid and top end. The bottom end took a loss, but the power comes on serious with the new pipe. Like a smaller 2-stroke. If you like a slightly pipe-ee bike it`s great. Definitely more power.
