I have a 92 Kx5 and was wondering which valve cage comes more recommended: the boyesen or the v force delta two. Is there a power difference between the two?
Thanks,
Rob

Boysen moves the power UP in the RPM range, doesn't create more total power just moves it.
The VForce makes gobs more power everywhere
This is accomplished by the dual reed setup in the VForce. A typical reed cage - Boysen, stock, etc.. - has a total usable opening of 10 - 12 mm. The dual setup of the VForce allows for a 20 - 24 mm opening on the reed cage. More air and fuel = more power.

Paul,
I found my boysen pumped up the midrange nicely. Do you feel the VForce is that much better for low end power? I know my CR250 buddies rave about them.

I run a Delta VForce and it made the bike more responsive,It feels like I can pull a higher gear in places than I could stock.

Yeah I do, my bro went from a Boysen on his bike to a VForce and couldn't believe the change. There's just more from bottom to top along the entire RPM range.

How long do the carbon-fiber reeds last on either one?

I just changed my VForce Reeds for the first time. THey were in there 18 months and still looked ok, the tips were barely cracked and there were no chips in them.
