Title: 97 Kx 250

I have a 97 KX 250 thats chewing up water pump seals(2 so far), I jest went to the dealer and the parts guy couldn't find the part number for the seal. Any you guys know??

Call Miwest Action Cycle. 800-343-9065. Never a hassle with part numbers or getting OEM parts.

Might be time for a new water pump shaft if you are having repeat seal failures.

Well looking at my Clymer Manuel I see I should have packed the seal with grease. I didn't bother to consult the Manuel the last time because it seemed like such a easy job. Thanks for the tips.

Any time you install a seal you should put a light coat of grease on the seal surface and the shaft.
