Title: Aliminum frame kit?
Post by: FactoryPhil on September 23, 2007, 05:41:10 PM
Just looking on eBay and found an aluminum frame with expansion chamber for KX500's. Anyone else seen this? I tried to find info on the "company" selling it by searching the internet and came up with nothing. I even emailed the seller for more info but he just responded "Call me" with a phone number. :?

If it is the ebay item that is selling for like 2 grand, MFS I think, I would think thats quite a bit of money. A guy I know bought a whole bike for $6700, then spent the next 2 weeks revamping it.It doesn't look to bad but there were alot of things that needed changing. Anway 2 grand seems like a lot for a frame and pipe, I think AJ is selling his pipes for about $230, so whats a frame worth?

Does it come with the frame only or is it a rolling chasis?

This is the same guy that promised to buy my bike but never followed through. This is just a frame and the pipe you have to get the forks, swingarm, shock, etc. Seems to me you should be able to buy a roller for about $3G or so.
