Title: KX250 Flywheel or stock?
Post by: BigGreenMachine on September 21, 2007, 11:52:24 PM
Just wondering here but I may be wrong. Going to include two pics. First is my KX500's flywheel (on the right) vs my 85 Tecate flywheel.

Second from left to right is stock KX500, Rickey stator Tecate 250 flywheel and then KX250.

What I want to know is if I have a stock 88 flywheel or a KX250 flywheel.

Can anyone tell me what I have on my 88 motor?

Are the pre-90 flywheel's really this much smaller?

PM Hughes. He has a '87 and a newer ignition. He should be able to tell you if the size is that great.

My '90 had the same flywheel as the '04. Go figure. That heavy POS was quick to go. Actually I gave it to a member here if I recall correctly.
