hi all! i am new to the forum, got withdrawal symptoms as i am working in berlin, germany for another few weeks and my kx is in fernie, bc. great place with tons of great info here!!! respect to all the gurus!
i have a 99 kx250 with an all new bottom end, piston and a few other bits and pieces that i just put in start of the season. it is my second kx, had a 125 in the 80s and i always remember it as one of the best bikes i had. traded it for one of the first 600 ktm lc4 (89), that was a beast and it got me hooked on fourstrokes. they were fun for a while, different and hard to tame back then, but i am sort of over them now to be honest. haven't had as much fun on two wheels for years as i have with the kx!! if only i could afford a kx500af...
well, enjoy riding everybody who can at the moment! i am sure i will post some dumb questions eventually;)
where would you go from bc to extend the riding season until december? thought about going south to the states, any secrets you wanna share?

Welcome to the site.
Hope you enjoy the KX and find pleanty of places to ride. In Michigan I can usually ride into November. Then we grab our skis and fly to BC for skiing. John
PS the cold temperature on my hands is what stops my season. I cannot ride the KX with my ski gloves. Also snow on top of leaves is extremely slippery.

Flow_w,
Just go to Vancouver. You can ride all winter there. Or come up to Kamloops and join me for a snow ride. Cam.
