not enough room on the bike  to fit and i thought they were for more a 4 stroke set up to change velocty thru carb

For me isn?t no problem with room, I will use KN-filters mounted directly on carb.
Get higher velocity is a good thing regardless of 2-stroke or 4-stroke isn?t it? :-D
I?m trying to test my Lectron next week, waiting for right needle though (4-2 XL),and see this ring at a website, maybe worth testing too. :|

Ops!
That needle runs Steward with same ported barell and piston, but I got DOMA-pipe though.
Maybe to lean? :|

Fast by Gast recomend 7-1 needle for KX500 and now I?m unsure witch one I should pick
to start with :?

What do you think Steward? 8-)

i've had good results with 6-1 and 6-2 fast by gast needles.tried 5-2 but was a little lean for my setup.true the packard needles are different as he cuts his own taper.
