Is there a fix for worn swingarm rear brake mounts? My 93 is worn bad. I picked up a swingarm for a 2002 on ebay and it has the same problem. I do have a new rear brake for the later models. Just curious if anyone else has the same problem.

You talking about the almun bracket that the brake carrier is bolted to? Or the part that is welded to the swing arm that keeps the brake carrier/amlun bracket in place and from rotating?
-
The piece that is welded to the swingarm. I was wondering if it could be welded and ground to the correct size and shape.

I feel it would be cheap and easier to repair your current swing arm. Chances are real good that if you buy another swing arm it will have the same wear.

I appreciate all the help. I bought a 2002 arm from ebay and it was worn pretty bad. I sent a email asking about the condition of the 92 arm you are talking about. He did not really understand what i was talking about. I think i will look around and see if i can get the 93 and the 02 arms i have repaired. I just dont like how much the caliper rotates as it is. Thanks again everyone.
