Title: Powervalve Adjustment Questions
Post by: BigGreenMachine on July 19, 2007, 05:53:24 AM
Have a question about how to solve overclosing of the KX500 powervalves (side barrels).

Getting them to close up is not an issue, just find the right size ball bearing to go behind the actuator rod and the left hand plug so that they close off. Fine.

Now my question is will this ball bearing spacer keep the powervalves from fully opening?

Is it just as simple as putting in the right size ball and thats it?

Just find a ball some fits in hole and then adjust with spacers under locknut.
You have to look at fully opened KIPS as closed and see if ball are to big...
