Title: Oil Drain Plug Safety Wire
Post by: FuriouSly on May 21, 2007, 03:58:53 AM
Figured I would throw out a picture of how to safety wire your oil drain plug if someone wants to know....     (sorry I had the wrong picture of the wire job,  this is the correct picture)  This is a tough spot to photo.  The wire is 1/4 of an inch from the case,  it does not rub.

Sorry for the incorrect wire job in the original picture,  I used the wrong picture.  I updated the original picture in the first post.

I don't remember the actual manufacturer,  (I could have swore it was a Moose,  not sure though) but Outlaw Racing has them...

Sly,
Good pics.  I did it the same way except I drilled a hole in a small SS washer and put it under the bolt. Pics in my gallery. Cam.
