I will start by saying my 99 KX125 is a mess. it looks rough  plastics, seat, dented pipe. looking at fixing it up right and notice that alot of peices I see usually say 99-02 kx 125/250. just wondering what other years/peices extend beyond this. 03-up plastics? pipes?
also how hard is it to change the water pump bearings? it sounds a little rough when I shut it off kind of a low rumble right where the water pump is near as I can tell, might be nothing, but im not sure..
Thanks :|

As far as the plastics question, I would look on line at some of the after market brands and the will usually tell you what years will fit different models.
Not sure on the water pump question, however I am sure lots of guys around the site will know.
I would buy a book for your project! It is very helpful if nothing else just knowing the names and numbers of things to understanding the suggestions you will get from the site. :-D :-D

the only aftermarket plastics I know about is UFO and Acrebis(I think they do plastics). what others are there?

Like Clymer for Kawasaki, mine covers kx125& KX 250 from 1982-1991 and the KX500 from1983 -2004. I am sure they make a later one for your 125.

the answer to your ? is 99-02 on most everything. the plastics you got ufo, acerbis, mier. you can get a manual from clymer, or the Kawasaki service manual. you can get them from the Kaw shop, www.rockymountainatv.com or ebay. a manual is a definate neccessity for any bike owner. saves you a lot of mistakes and doin it the hard way.
good luck and have fun, cause te world is ending at the end of 2012
