Title: KX5
Post by: Good on April 21, 2007, 05:59:54 AM
Hey guys!  I'm new to this site and look forward to learning more about the beast.  I live in southeastern Arizona and have been riding since I was 5.  I'm 31 now.  I rode big bores throughout high school including a YZ490, KX5, and a cool CR 480 Elsinore.  I recently picked up a 2000 KX5 that had been abused and will be building her accordingly.  I'm sorry in advance for any and all stupid questions I may and will ask.

Welcome in Tim

Don't worry about asking daft questions as by the looks of it you are well grounded by owning loads of other dirtbikes in the past.
I hope we can help you out with the right information.

Regards scott.

Thanx all!  I appreciate it!  Embarassing question #1:  How do I get to someone's pictures or album or whatever it's called without being linked.  I can't figure it out.   :?

Welcome to the site of quick answers for stupid questions. Alot of my stupid qustions have already been asked and answered on here, but I often re-ask with my own details. There are some real bright guys on here, and they share. Also a good place to find parts and low prices. Wish I would have found this place sooner. My k5 is running great now!!!

All the guys on this site are very helpful, i once asked about the name of a part because i didn't know the name in English, turns out i had used the part name on my description, imagine, anyway, although someone did make a little fun of me it was good natured and they all helped me.
