I didnt realize they still made a 500 2 stroke until I came to this site
a few weeks ago. I never see any in the motorcycle shops around here
for sale new or used.
the power must be unreal on one
Madkaw is that a K5 in your pic by your name, the rear fender is different,
all the 500's I've been seeing have a rear fender that looks like it came from 1985 or something :-D do the 125/250 rear fenders fit on a 500?
:-D :-D :-D :-D
-
last year for em was 04
anything will fit if you cut it enough
-
little cut, little drill...it'll work :-D
yeah its a 500. and you know 1985 was only a long time ago if you weren't born yet. mmmlets see, I was in 8th grade... :|
and I think I'm going to use the old fender, they don't make em like that anymore, just like the bike
-
in 1985 I was in 5th grade, :-P a little younger than you, but not by too much.
I was just saying that I like the straighter rear fenders better than the curved ones...... :-D gives it a more updated look...

dress em like you like em...I got both, switch with my mood...he he he. some days I feel nestalgic.

I cant say a whole lot about rear fenders I guess, when I bought my bike it had the rear fender cut off about 6 inches from the end of the back seat. It bugged me the whole way home in the back of the truck that day. got it home unloaded it , started it, rode it a little bit, havent payed it much attention since. I cant see it from where Im sittin.......... :-D
Party on Garth!

I think I was in 3rd grade. I like the way the 250 fenders look, but I'm sticking with the 5 body. You just can't beat that feeling when someone says, "That's a 500, isn't it?" I don't want to confuse anyone, 'cause I still get confused from time to time with all the custom stuff out there...
Anyway, nice find. I wish my '00 was an '04. :-D
