Hello all! I'm 24/m from NJ. Just dropping in to say hello. A few weeks ago I came across a 1992 kx125. I decided that I'd like to try out dirt this summer as I have been riding street for the past few years on my sv650. Anyway, the bike seems to be in great shape and I got it for only $750 with a new helmet!! It also came with a spare carb and stock exhaust system. (Currently has an FMF system on it).
I'm going riding for the first time next weekend April, 21 at Paragon in PA with my buddy who also just picked up his first dirtbike, a 2002 kx125. We are camping out on Friday night and riding all day Saturday. We'll see how it goes, I think I'll love it!
I changed all the fluids on the bike and am trying to get it sparkly clean, as I will after each ride. (I know its a DIRTbike but I'm a bit nutty that way).

sounds good...and welcome to the site. don't forget your tools and fix-a-flat. take plenty of gas and plenty of your favorite beverages for after the day's ride....he he he

Sounds like fun, camping overnight and then getting up to ride is my favorite kind of relaxation. Have a good time and enjoy, welcome the KXfamily.
