I assume that this Magic head is somewhat simillar to VHMs 250 cylinder heads with the interchangable domes for different compression and squish?

Never seen any VHM heads for the 500s as yet :-(

Are you going to be selling any of these?

If so what kind of money are you thinking of charging?

VHM (http://www.vhm.nl/VHM/Cylinderheads/kawasaki.htm) don't make them for the 500s

Here we have a "Magic Head " from Mike Melde,I will make one of these soon!
With o-ring sealing and removed attchment... 8-)
And runs with a flat-top piston which is lighter and gives more RPM.

I take it thet the wires are coming from a solid state temperature sender?

I have looked into getting one of those as they are avaliable in M6 thread which if I remember right is the same as the normal air bleed screw at the top of the head.

Most other temperature senders have a huge thread (1/8 NPT) which would need another hole in the head.

I'm also interested in this.  What kind of power increase is there?

stewart
how much do you charge to machine the head for 4 degree angle. are you guys welding at the squish band area to add filler or removing alot of the height to get to the flatter squish angle.
