my kx500 is missing a rear spoke. Will one for say an excel rim,etc fit or will i have to get oem spoke ??
-
think the excel ones are bigger diameter

The excell ones may be a bit different, but a spoke is a spoke. They vary by length, diameter and head angle. If the excell one is for a KX hub is should be fairly easy to make it work, unless the nipple is too large for the stock rim. Then you may rather buy a stock spoke instead of drilling the rim. Hope this helps. Cam.

Ill go with oem than. Any suggestions on where to order online ? ive tried bikebandit in the past, but the turn around time is too long.

Excel spokes work with the stock hubs and oem rims. I've used them on both my CR's and KX500.. I will be using them on my YZ too when it is needed. Though I had a dealer install them all around.. If 1 went out, usally the rest follow.
