Title: kx 500 - 250 gas cap
Post by: maddoggy on March 22, 2007, 04:46:33 PM
hey guy's, does anyone know if the gas cap on the kx 250 and kx 500 are the same cap. I'd like to get an aluminum cap but having a little trouble locating an affordable one for a k5. lots out there for kx 250's.

I ordered one from rockymountainatvmc.com it was for a kx250 and fit my old 87 500 just fine, on the under side it had kx,yz stamped in it. They are cheap to under 30.00 bucks.

Kawasaki uses the same fuel cap from 1985-2004 on the 500's . 125's and 250's are all the same from 1985 up to 1998. In 1999 they went to a smaller cap.
