Knowledge is power. This forum brings some serious power. Along the same scale as the KX500, good post SLY.

Yea guys, thanks
I have always considered myself to be pretty knowledgeable about bikes however this website and your input has shown me that I am nowhere near as knowledgeable as I thought I was.  Everyone?s incite has been great and I will continue to use advice from this site

Thanks
Brian

I agree with the kudos to everyone!!  It's nice to be able to share the info. I've spent a lifetime racing and riding all sorts of bikes, gaining knowledge (much is useless).  I also started my racing career as a kid in the 70's where if you wanted long travel suspension or a cool pipe, you had to design it and build it yourself, so you learn a lot by default.  It's also the engineer in me that wants to re-make things to be better (but doesn't always work).  I get a great reward in sharing info and helping out other members of the site.  But I agree it is the combined input from everyone that really matters, and what makes this site great!!  I have learned tons of things here from all the members, things that have really helped me.  Thanks guys!! Cam.

Me Too!
This is one of only a few sites I visit as I am not afraid of my wife and kids seeing where I spend my 'Putor time,
Thanks to You all for posting and replying.
At the rate I'm gleening the old threads I should be up to date in about a year and a half.... :|

Yeah Paul!! The mastermind behind it all!!  One of things I forgot to mention is how much I enjoy reading posts from guys who compete in types of racing that are different from what I get to experience in my locale in Canada.  The drag racers, the hillclimbers, the supermoto guys, the dunes guys, the ice road racers, the motor transplant guys.  I find the variety endlessly refreshing.  Keep it coming guys!! Thanks. Cam.

And to think... this version (all KX encompassing) started with a little post like this (http://www.kxriders.com/forums/index.php/topic,3.0.html).

It really is you guys, I sure didn't know much about this when I started, forums, galleries OR the KX500. Glad you feel you can let your families share in what we're doing here, thats always good to hear. I'll continue to push this place in that direction and don;t worry... this will never become a DRN ;)

:D
