Title: retarding ignition timing
Post by: dmstarr on March 06, 2007, 02:31:56 PM
97 KX250, geard 13/49, FMF fatty, shorty, boyesen rad valve, 10 oz flywheel weight. What effect would retarding the ignition timing have?
I've read mixed opinions.

depending on how much you retard it. If you slightly retard it (to the next notch) it will cause the bike to have a little more umph up top.
