Can a guy buy a brand new kx-500 engine from kawasaki still?
How much?
-
no ,
unfortunantly they stopped production of the engines,,
so you have to buy all the parts needed, and assemble the engines.

Do you have to do that with CR 500s as well?

I know this may seem nosey but do you buy all the bearings and seals from the bike manufacturer or from a bearings supplier?
If so do you use a different specification on any of them?
Just interested more than anything really.
Regards scott.

Scott, i missed this.
yes i use all new, original OEM bearings, seals, and, parts in the engines.
at some point in time i may look into if i can source anything of routinely higher quality..bearing wise.
but at the moment it seems best to simple go with OEM which is tried true ,
and we all know what to expect,,both from my standpoint and the customer buying a KX500AF.
