I plan on going to Little Sahara in the next month or two when we get or other dunebuggy done. Just wandering it anyone has any suggestions on paddle tires for a 500? I have also seen front tires but never used one. So what tire do you suggest? :-D
-
you don't have to do anything with the front tire. i have run a 10 paddle(skat-trak)...destroyed it in a day..went with a cheap 8 paddle and haven't had any issues. go cheap, cuz the 5hundo shreds paddles...gear a little taller also. have fun

When you put a paddle tire on the rear of a KX5 you don't need a front tire, because it is never on the ground!

so cheap :? what about how many paddles, what difference deos it make from 8-10?

has anyone ever used a front rib sand tire?

I have 2 sets of wheels, the stock MX wheels, and a stock set that I will mount sand tires on. I bought AMS Sand Snake tires front and rear. I have not mounted them yet or used them. So I can't give you a thumbs up or down. Here's a site if you want to look at them.

i like my 14 paddle skat trak i had made

I run an 8-blade turbo paddle; it get great traction yet spins enough to turn well too. The ribbed front is the bomb! It adds a whole new dimension to turning in the sand.

thanks guys. i will deff get front and rear tires. Im a big guy so i have probs turning with the extra weight sinking the front tire.
