hey guys don't flame the new guy.there is a guy in ct putting kx5 engines in 02-07 cr250 frames.i figured i would mention it just as another option for the beloved kx5 power plant in a more modern chassis.you can supply your own engine or oen engine and chassis.he uses a modified cr5 exhaust.he is finishing one at the moment.he doesn't have a website at the moment.i figure the more options we have the better.

I just thought it would be cool to look at his web site when he gets it up.  Still paying on 2 bikes, it will be late summer before I can afford my next bike.  I would ask his permission before posting his # and or his e-mail.  If he gives his permission some of our more affluent members might like it.  If you own a KX500 your either rich, stupid or have very good insurance. d**n, I not rich and I don't have good insurance, just adequate. ( I hate when I get stuck in the wrong category).
