-
Wow! Very beautiful, I believe you win the gold trophy. Excellent!
-
very nice work! What did you use for the silencer? Too, by any chance could you give a ball park figure at what it cost to do a conversion, assuming all I have is a kx500 in my garage?
-
what was the donor chassis? Can a 04 rmz250f be used?

Love the bike conversion!! Looks great and nice alluumminuumium work :-P Did you mod the pipe to fit? Have fun on it and keep everyone informed on the performance stuff.
Still love the iron frame, but that soda can frame looks hi-tech.

OZ,
Just curious, the pipe is a 91 honda, how did you get around the water pipe from the cylinder to the pump? I've completed 2 perimeter framed 500's using a 02 KX 250 chassis and bought a honda pipe but the clearance wasn't there, I would have had to dent the pipe in around the water hose to get it to fit. Ultimately I bought a PC KX500 pipe cut, twisted and rewelded it, It works great but takes about 6-7 hours to fit it. I'm thinking that I used the wrong year Honda pipe. Did you try to keep the headpipe length the same as the KX. and lastly how does it work?
Thanks

Hi don46 i used a cr 91 on pipe and had to add 15 mm in the center between the frame rails and then remove 10 mm from the first bend near the frame rail on the left side thats how i cleared the hose and pump i did not check the length to a kx pipe and have rode a couple of times it does not have had a big effect on the power it goes real fast and strong runs real nice

that's NICE dude! I want one!
