Title: Another noobie
Post by: apple on July 27, 2006, 07:07:30 AM
Hello all.
I`ve been reading lots of posts about the KX500, since I`m planning to get one of the beasts as soon as the money arrives. It`s great to know what to do to the bike to make it sweet before I get one, since most of my riding is going to be in the Socal desert where HP is what matters. I`ve tried a couple of 4-strokes and even though I like the bottom end they have there`s nothing like a 2-stroke. Been raised on 2-strokes so I think the desert sounds like it`s being invaded by Briggs and Stratton on the weekends. Anyhoo, looking forward to another open bike. Soon!

Hey guys, thanks. When I get a KX I`ll post a pic. I have one to look at, and yes it does come with a paddle!
When I get one it`s gonna see a bunch of Ocotillo.

Two stroke is the way. May the Force be with you.

Absolutely, there is nothing worse than topping out a 4 banger and hitting the rev limmiter. 2 strokes all the way. All though, I do plan on getting a XR650, I still couldn't do without a 2 stroke.
