Title: Finaly got a 500

New to the board so I will be learning a lot about my 03 K5. Looks like this is the only hot spot on the net for the 500s.
Out of Tampa Florida riding for 21 years mostly on KX 250s and got tired of those new 450s pulling me. So I went out and picked up a clean bike threw on a FMF pipe, Pro Taper bars and let her rip.

I must say these bikes haul a$$! Glad to see people a little crazy like me.
I ask my buddys if they want to ride and they just look at me with a blank stare. He he
Any way cool board. Looking forward to the info you guys have on these bikes. :-D

Welcome aboard! Just remember those 450's have to rest every other stroke!  :-P :-P :x :?They will never be anything more than a half assed machine! :lol: He He He! :-D :-D

Welcome SMPKX500,u a smart man with bike choice,the only pulling will be those 450's riders trying to get relief when your mighty K5 legend kicks their ass at half throttle. :-D
