Title: are hubs interchangable between models/years
Post by: motoxjustin on May 31, 2006, 06:54:03 AM
the wheels and spokes may be different sizes, but does anyone know if the hubs and axles are the same, how about rotors and bearings and misc. I see a lot of used kx60 and kx80 wheel sets for sale at good prices but the kx65 prices are crazy high. I got an extra set of brand new rims in a lot I purchased and really only need the hubs and spokes to put together a nice spare set for the races. Are all those mini hubs the same or different? I would just call my local Kawi place but I'm offshore in the middle of the ocean on satelite internet trying to get something ready for race season.

try http://www.bikebandit.com and use the OEM parts fiche. It should have part #'s and pics of the hubs and other parts needed to know if they are even close or not. My guess is not. But I have not been on a pre-125 in years, so your best bet is to check out the fiches.
