Title: What helicoil size

I had a stud pull up on my head/cylinder.  So I need to helicoil it and am wonding the size I need to use. I assume I go one size over or buy a kit that is specific to repair the size thread in question?

I'm wonding while I'm at it should I just helicoil all the head/cylinder threads or just ones that are questionable?

Buy the kit for the size bolt you have. It will come with the helicoil and drill bit and tap. I would do just the one that needs it.

2001,
  When buying your helicoil kit keep in mind that you will eventually have to helicoil the trans drain plug hole.  Different size but sometime it is cheaper to buy the whole kit at once. Cam.
