what brand piston do you run in your kx250? which ones do you stay away from?

I run Wiseco in my bikes. I know some call them seizeco but if a new piston locks up most likely there's someting else going on. I know a lot of people do not break them in correctly or have jetting issues.

Another vote for Wiseco. Readily available and a pretty economical choice.

Wiseco here too. I had a buddy that would swear that they were junk pistons, (aka seizeco) but that is cause they are forged and you have to be careful about breaking in and warming up correctly, aside from that, they last much longer than stock in my oppinion.

I, too, like stock...except the price, so run Wiseco as well.  Also use ProX without any problems.

Excellent luck so far with wiseco in my old yamaha and both kx's.
