Maybe you've seen them before somplace else or maybe not. Anytime I see a cool photo of any 500, I try and save. Here are some of my favorites.
Here's a classic. Bailey and Glover '85 or '86? Anyone know why Bailey is running #1 with blue background?

Another cool one during the same season. Those guys are nuts!

I believe this is '02 Mammoth MX with Richie Owens on the only 500 two stroke in the Open Pro class.

Another photo of Richie Owens lined up for the '03 Mammoth MX?

Those were the days when men were men and four strokes were for the farm.

The Blue #1 was for the combined championship (Supercross+Outdoors). Wrangler was the sponsor for those years. Plate was blue with gold number.
Ran across the answer here-World's Greatest Supercross Races - DVD
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?type=product&id=1505121
The ad shows it as 60min but it's a 5 disk set and I've watched a good 10 hours so far with 2 disks to go. For 20 bucks its a must have for vintage racing.
You can tell I got nothing to do!

Thanks for the answer!
I gotta get me that DVD World Greatest Supercross Races. I do have the Supercross Classics DVD that just came out. It's two discs and covers '83-'89. Weird that it does not have the greatest race of all time ('86 Anaheim). :|
Thinks again for the info on the #1 plates!

If your talking about the Bailey\Johnson race it's there. I looked at the classics DVDs but chose the greatest DVD. Besides I was looking (drooling) hard at a 21in flatscreen and needed to go!
