Title: Newer Style Forks vers. The Older Ones
Post by: hughes on March 03, 2006, 03:48:31 AM
Hey,

Do ya'll think there would be any handling benefit for me if I change my old style forks (87 500) to the newer one off a 90 or new bike. I have seen these parts listed on e-bay and before I buy any thing just wondering if there will be any benefit. Thanks

I think you will need to go to newer than 94! I just got that project bike and I want to update it to either aftermarket or what ever the 04 model had! However I hope we get some help from the other guys that really know this suspension stuff!

Go for Kayaba 46mm or the new one with 48mm!
You know my recombination about NOST-valves
