I run D756 tires on my WR400 and really like them in for NorCal terrain. I'm thinking about putting a set on my KX but I'm not sure how they'd (the rear tire) last on this bike. Does anybody have any experience with the D756 19inch rear on a KX500? Or any other soft-intermediate terrain tires that will last more than one ride?
I really haven't ridden the KX since we moved up here from SoCal so the bike still has a D490 or K139 (can't recall) front & K695 rear - both of which need replacing.

Ive run a 19" 756 on my 500,it lasted around 3 months of riding around 100 miles a week. But when I reversed it on the rim it was all over, chunking and veary fast wear.Half of the riding was mud/loam other half was the worst rocks (sharp) you could ride in.I had a 739 up front and it lost its bite around the same time, then started loosing knobs badly, buy I was happy with it and would recomend it ,like I said the rocks where bad.Im in Redding Ca.,what part of Nor Cal did you move to?

Mike,
I'm in Santa Rosa - about 60 miles north of the Golden Gate on 101. I normally ride Middle Creek or Stonyford with the occassional trip to the Sierra's or Clear Creek.
My WR came stock with the 739 on the front and I hated up here. Switching to a 756 on the front made a huge difference.

Mine likes the 955F front and Kenda Millville 120/90-19 rear. Wear seems good, no blown knobs and corners like a dream.
