Hey Dude,
After I sealed up my crank cases I wiped the bead of yamabond that was fromed on the outside seams but forgot to wipe it out of the crank case area. Know I have a 1/16 or 1/8 of yamabond sticking up all the way around the seam for the two cases(inside the crank case). Is this a problem? I am afraid to removed it know may break my seal. What do ya'll think.

Let it dry, I'm assuming it will be ok. This might be bad information, but I've used Yamabond on all crankcases and have never had a problem and I suffer from the same issue of beading out the edges. I think it will be ok.

I'm with Gowen on that one. Squeeze out is good. If there was enough to contact anything on the inside it would just burn up or blow out thru exhaust. It's seems too soft to do any damage. I use it all the time with no problems.

It is my opinion that this will cause no problems. I think that the bead formed on the inside will stay put and not come loose. I use Hondabond and Yamabond all the time at work and have never had a problem.
If a small amount did come loose, I cannot imagine any damage occuring. This is not a hydralic valve lifter or a auto-trans valve body. Once you get the KX up on the back wheel you will forget all about this.
Enjoy the fresh engine. John
