Title: 1989 KX500 Electrical Question

See the attached picture.

I have the white/red white/green and black/yellow wire but a spare black/white coming from the stator. I see the long black that connects to the coil abs have the two short wire (black/white abs black I assume go to the stop switch).

Any idea on the spare black/white wire from
The stator there is only one female and the only other black/white wire I have is also female coming from the cdi which I assume is for the stop switch.

Ideas?

Clymer Manual for 1989

Black - CDI - + Coil
Black/Yellow - CDI - Ground
White/Red - CDI - Magneto
White/Green - CDI -  Magneto
Black/White - CDI - Magneto
Black/White - Kill Switch
Black - Kill Switch ground

Thanks. I only have one black white wire coming off the cdi. It appears it’s for the kill switch. I don’t have another from the cdi. The cdi has the black yellow white red and white green but there is one black white female plug from the magneto.

Wonder if Incan split the black white wire coming from the cdi so it
Goes to both the kill switch and the magneto ??

Turns out that black wire is a reconnect higher up to
The other black/white wire. Banging now.
