Hi!
I have been thinking of extending my oem clutch arm for better feel and easyer pull, but how many milimeters do you guys recomend for arm extension? some say 5mm others say 10mm? and were exactly on the clutch arm do you cut and weld? any tips about this? some pics of your clutch arm mods would help alot!
Thanks!!

5 mm i did , the middle of the flat section , i prefer to use a clutch lever with a easier pull ratio or a hydralic set up works wonders to. Than you can run stiffer clutch springs with out tiring out your arm :-)

I just did 7mm on mine and it works great, 25% easyer clutch pull, and clutch feel improved by a lot!

Pivot bearings can bind, replacing those helps. Only run an OEM cable. Aftermarket ones can have a 1-3 pound firmer pull. A good clutch perch with a needle bearing pivot make a huge difference. Use OEM clutch springs. Very few applications actually need stiffer springs.

1. Straighten the cable a bit where the metal shield is at. And make sure the cable is new.
2. Cool aftermarket clutch perches.
3. Extended clutch puller arms. 10mm
4. Hydraulic clutch.
5. Basket and hub in good condition.
6. Use a OEM Clutch cable. (One lb lighter pull than a Motion Pro cable).
