Title: Newb with 1999 KX500 Need help Identifying. Factory Race Bike?

I picked up this 99 with the lower frame guards, aluminum sub frame, Black Excel rims on black Kawasaki hubs, IMF Desert tank, BRP top triple, and a vented and ducted front number plate.  It has a sticker on the frame neck that said it was competition only.  Maybe all KX 500's have those.  It looks similar to Destry's 01' KX500

Any ideas from the experts?

I was able to track down the history of this Team Green bike out of So-Cal.

Hey man, sounds like a nice bike.. all the 500s ive ever seen has all had the closed course competition use only.. Sounds like someone modithe bike.. i have the same bike.. does yours have the KIPS cylinder? I dont thank they came factory with black rims and sub aluminum frames but i could be wrong.. either way you got a good one.. hope this helps..
