Title: shift shaft holding up right side cover?
Post by: Borntworide on April 14, 2020, 07:47:23 AM
Is it possible for the shift shaft to hold up the right side cover? The notch in the cover is hitting the top of the shift shaft no allowing cover to seat flush?

Can do but make sure shift shaft not touching bench as well when you bolt it up as it can damage side cover , also check kickstart plastic spring holder is in properly and not worn in the groove , had a ktm do this it kept slipping out only a bit , but just enough to hold it out.

If it is the shift shaft not allowing the cover to fully seat, I would make sure all of the shifting mechanism is assembled or fully in place.
