Title: Service KX500AF airbox/airboot question
Post by: 174ktm on November 19, 2019, 02:21:56 PM
I bought a 2013 Service KX500AF on the weekend its a 2012 kx250f chassis. The bike was a snow bike its whole life, so I basically got a bike in 7 rubbermaid containers. (man lego project)
That being said, the airbox is hacked to shreads and no airboot. I plan on putting this bike on the ice this winter and need a airbox/airboot.
I have a 2015 airbox for a kx250f which i was going to use (plus all the plastic from the 15).
Anyone have some intel on what airboot I should be looking at? Thanks for your input.

on my KX500AF I used a cr250 boot with a special aluminum adapter for cr500af on my 2009 kx250f frame (same as yours)
the cr250 boot is very dust and waterproof with its double seal.
