Jeez, i've been whining to myself for years about how I need bar risers on my K5. Finally was able to get this mod done. The problem is the dampener pivot pin won't be long enough after the addition of the 1.2" taller risers. Thanks to the addition last year of my Little Machine Shop mini-mill I was able to machine a longer pin out of some .312" dia titanium rod. Everything fits perfect, alignment is spot on, and steering feels smooth !

Here's a pic of my mini-mill , if you're a hardcore DIY project guy, you NEED one of these mills !

This mill has fixed or modified so many broken projects with my bikes and guns ! Wished I had bought one 10 years ago !

nice work, I've been wanting one of those little mills for a long time for some of my other endeavors

Looks good, but why not just do a sub-mount?

I don't think a 7/8 bar sub mount is made for the K5 ? Regardless the titanium pin was free , and the risers were $23. 👍 LOL

People still seriously run a 7/8" bar?
