Title: Ram off-road park
Post by: reklessj on March 11, 2019, 04:33:07 AM
So I finally got a chance to ride the KDX I bought from my son (who is at NTC in the box ). My other son and a few of his Cav. Scout buddies took me out to a place outside Colorado Springs. Nothing too challenging here but it's fun and cheap ($10). Here is part 1,  more to come! Pretty cool lil gap jump in this one!!

Looks likes a fun group. For some reason I thought you were in California. Did you move, or am I just getting forgetful?   :-D

I do like live in Cali but took my son who got stationed in Kansas his car and got him the KDX & on the way home am spending a couple weeks with our other son in Colorado. We are hoping to get a home here in Colorado as well. I figure the mountains and the ocean couldn't get much better than that man

My son is in Golden, near Denver.  It’s so beautiful there, and I’ve heard the riding is unbelievable. I keep threatening to drag our bikes out there to go riding with him. Only thing stopping me is the 10 hour drive. I’m getting old.  :-D

Sounds pretty crisp. You didn't mention it having any issues, so I take it all's good.

I wish I had some terrain like that nearby here.

I am trying to talk my boy into hit some higher elevation trails before I leave (he's more of a track guy) but I say you should do it my drive is 17 hrs. There is even more spots up near him. You could even hit thunder valley, it's right there

No issues other than it not being able to keep my fat ass up in the stroke. Man that thing is plush!! LMFAO. My son I was riding with rode it and cleared every jump on the track no problem an said it's perfect for Spencer so he should be happy when he gets leave and can finally ride it

Sweet
Stock suspension? I remember how nice my stock suspension was on my 250 for trail riding...but it wasn't up to par for track riding and decent sized jumps.

Yeah it's all stock except foot pegs, bars and full P.C. exhaust.
