Does anybody know where I can get hold of or download a service manual for an '87 KX500?
Kawasaki, or apparently Clymer's Manuals are also good.
I have read on this site a place to download 88-2004 models but since the '87 is so different that is what I'm going to need.
Thank you in advance for any replies.

We have this one listed on the site, which is a .pdf of the 88 version. Your bike will be very similar (except the transmission will be a little different).

Thanks to both of you.
I tried to send you a personal message (Foxx4Beaver) to say thanks I'll try to ring them to see if they're willing to deliver here but you've blocked me. Why has that happened? I'm new and don't know how this site works and I thought it was a polite way to say thank you?

Foxx4Beaver.
Thanks. Don't worry, I shan't take it personally.
I've actually written a book that's due out in the next couple of months, and when that's in print I won't just be opening myself up for criticism, but pure unadulterated condemnation. In fact, I don't expect to have anyone ever want to speak to me again, LOL.
