If any of the Asian or European manufactures made a modern 2 stroke 500 cc these 450 shootouts would be a moot point. Before that day occurs I'll still be buying KTM. Thanks for posting though!

you win some you loose some , i seen the kx 19 win a couple of shootout , ktm got one and yamy as well , there all good bikes but you got to take in account your local dealer , the feel of each bike as every one likes something different and what colour you like. we get the kx as the dealers are good , there not even a yamaha dealer in 100 km and the ktm dealer not worth known , but thats in my area were you live could be a different story. though the suzuki needs to get rid of there rear shock design and fit a estart for me to get one.
