Title: Sunday Rip
Post by: Foxx4Beaver on August 26, 2018, 05:07:45 AM
Finally after 2 1/2 months of dry, 90+ degree weather, we got a break the past two days. This has been the hottest summer that I can ever remember...just misery. It rained like crazy Friday, which in turn dragged in a cold front, with 72 degree weather today and zero humidity. Got both out bikes out for a 4 hour morning ride.

Awesome Foxx! I am not much of a summer rider but we traveled through 17 states this summer and the only cool spots were the Rocky Mountains and Yellowstone. I can't wait for October!!!

I hear ya Rekless!...I don't ride much in the summer here either, unless we get rain periodically and it's not so humid. Today thru Thursday it's right back up to 95-100 degrees with dewpoints around 75-77..and that makes it feel like 110, which is unheard of here!!...my air conditioner hasn't been off since the beginning of June. I was in Corpus Christi for a week over Fathers Day weekend, and it wasn't as hot there as it's been here.
I'm soooo ready for 2ft of snow!
