Title: Devol Radiator Guards Question

Has anybody used the Devol radiator guards?  It looks like they replace the stock radiator louvers, and I was wondering how that affects the cooling.  My radiators are too far forward on my aluminum conversions and I think these would help, but I don't want to make it run too hot.

I asked Brett at ICW Radiators about these, and he said they wouldn't affect your cooling.  I think it will give me a few more inches of clearance, which is critical on my aluminum bike.
