So this review is way over due. This website was a huge help in getting my 2000 KX500 rebuilt and running. For the past year I've used it on the road (it has a plate) and in open fields with the kids. The bike is awesome and pulls like crazy. I finally got to do some real woods riding and was super impressed. I live in Northern New Jersey so tons of hills and rocks. Hills that I would get stuck on with my 96 kx250 the 500 just chugs up. I really had no idea that it would be so nice at lower rpm's in the woods. My only complaint is that the dual sport Pirelli I am running didn't hook up at all. I'm sure traction will always be an issue I'm also sure that there's a better option. Any recommendations for a rocky woods tire? I was looking at the Kenda Equilibrium. I get some pics up once I get back into my photobucket account.

I love mine in the woods, the torque is really nice. Now if I could just work on the fuel mileage.
Photobucket doesn’t work for posting anymore. On the bright side, the site can now host pictures. Here is a guide to posting: http://www.kxriders.com/forums/index.php/topic,17107.0.html (http://www.kxriders.com/forums/index.php/topic,17107.0.html)

Few pics from the first ride. Had to do the rear fender mod because the rear wheel ate the stock one.

First real ride

Looks good blacked out!...mine's still 80% blackened.
Too bad about the stock fender, it looks better with the stock one...I think.

New tires and risers. Can't wait to get back out.

Running the Bib Mousse system. Interested to see how it feels.
