Hey yall. I need some clarification . I have a 2009 kx250f and need some front forks. It has 47mm showa forks. Ive seen listings for 47mm forks "that fit " 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 kx250f, and them I'll see some for sale that say they fit 06 thru 08. That doesn't make sense, Im confused and my local dealership is useless.
Thanks

Try this list from Sandblaster. It has a section on Forks. If you are going to be buying forks, try to avoid the SFF forks. I put 2009 KX250F forks on my 500 conversion, and the suspension guys at Stillwell who redid them told me to avoid those forks because they were hard to set up correctly.

kx250f 09 come with 47mm showa forks ,they went sff on 2011 model on wards . the 09 forks are a good fork and can be revalved easy and there are plenty of icu springs avaliable as well , the short spring were the base valve is.

By the way the 05 to 08 kx250 2t benifit from a lighter icu spring as well kawi put a stiff 2.58 std i tried a 2.2 and it was plusher , the showa ones fit the kyb forks as well.

Thank you very much for the replies. I found forks off and 2006 KX250F but the Listing says for 06 thru 08. I'm guessing by the chart linked above that they are 47 mm shocks as well but I was wondering if the brake caliper stay is the same and all of that. Will the fork guards bolt up? Another question, if I were to buy these and some of it was different would I be able to use the internal components out of the 06 and put in my 09? The threads on my dampen rod got destroyed

there a good chance they will interchange if there showa 47mm , i cant remember what them models had , i had a few forks come in with thread damage , it pays to stick with the factory torque settings, never over tighten suspension components especially the nuts that hold all the valving assembly , that why race tech makes some of these items because they break from over torque them.
