Title: 2015 kx250 fork seal replacement questions
Post by: Biddi6 on March 28, 2018, 01:37:01 PM
New to the forum and this is my first post. I have a couple questions. What brand seals, bushing should I get? Oem or aftermarket. If aftermarket any particular brand? Second question, what for special tools do I need to complete this job?  Thank you

Skf fork seals are the way to go. They also make bushings but I'm not sure if there is a real advantage there.

if the bushes are worn , you can tell by the colouring and if they have any wear you can see they need to be replaced as the fork will have more play there fore putting more strain on the seal. go out and buy a seal driver and a seal bullet set to protect the seal over the sharp bush edge.

48mm. Rocky mountain atv has some inexpensive ones. Make sure you have the other required tools to get the caps off. YouTube has some videos with tips
